• I am looking for Childbirth Education. What kind does The Bowen Center offer?
  Childbirth education at The Bowen Center gives you tools that will enable you to give birth in the manner that you choose. You and your partner develop strategies for coping and physical ease during your labor and birth. Learn more about our childbirth education.

• I’m having my baby at home and need a back-up doctor for my midwife.
  Does Dr. Bowen do that?
  Yes, The Bowen Center for Women’s Health has been practicing Parallel Care with home birth midwives for many years. Parallel Care for a home birth requires a substantial commitment to self education, healthy lifestyle choices and puts you in charge of communication with your midwife and doctor. We do require you to come in for pregnancy visits so you can get to know us and we can answer any questions or concerns you may have.  
  
  
• Where does Dr. Bowen deliver babies?
  Dr. Bowen catches babies at Fairfield Mercy Hospital and Bethesda North Hospital.
