Dr. Daniel Bowen

Dr. Daniel C. Bowen is a women’s health physician specializing exclusively in gynecology, perimnopause, and menopause care. With more than 20 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, he transitioned away from obstetrics to focus entirely on supporting women through every stage of adult life and their evolving health needs. Dr. Bowen earned his medical degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and completed his OB/GYN residency at Bethesda Hospital. His extensive clinical background provides a strong foundation in comprehensive women’s healthcare. He specializes in individualized hormone management, comprehensive menopause care, and gynecologic services designed to restore balance, improve quality of life, and promote long-term wellness. In addition to medical management, Dr. Bowen performs a wide range of advanced gynecologic procedures in both office and hospital settings. His surgical expertise includes minimally invasive and robotic techniques such as DaVinci® robotic-assisted surgery, in-office cryo and thermal endometrial ablation, and treatment options for uterine fibroids – providing seamless medical and surgical solutions within one trusted practice. Dr. Bowen is committed to respectful, personalized care where women feel heard, supported, and confident in their healthcare decisions.

Michelle Wallace, CNP

Michelle Wallace is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Masters of Science in Nursing degree and certification in Women’s Health. Her undergraduate degree was a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Wright State University where she was also a member of the women’s volleyball team. Michelle holds professional memberships in the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nursing, The Menopause Society, National Certification Corporation and The International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau, honor society for nursing. Along with these professional memberships, Michelle has received advanced training in the area of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Michelle has over 20 years of experience in Women’s Health and has practiced in the Dayton and Cincinnati areas. Michelle performs a full range of services including gynecologic care for women across the lifespan. These services include: preconceptual planning, contraception, well woman exams, gynecologic problem visits, obstetric care, menopause and perimenopause, sexual health, PCOS and fertility concerns. Michelle’s mission has always been to empower women so they can be confident in guiding their own health care. She wants to ensure that women are well informed and have as much information as they need to determine their treatment plans and outcomes. Michelle is married with three boys. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys being with her family and friends, working out and watching her children in their extracurricular activities. She is also an avid Bearcats, Bengals and Reds fan.

Kelly Short

Kelly Short has been with Dr. Bowen for ten plus years, first as a Medical Assistant and now as The Bowen Center Office Manager. She is available, by phone or email to answer questions or concerns about staff and insurance.

Nicole Hiler

Supervisor- Nicole has been with The Bowen Center for 6 years. She does phone triage, assists patients in scheduling testing, works as a Medical Assistant, and ensures the office runs smooth daily.
